This film is a character movie, and for a character movie to be effective, you have to like the characters. It may be partly my fault, as I have never seen the series, but the film has very little character development for the protagonists. To me, they were just greedy semi-celebrities that made some bad choices, while fans of the TV show might relate to them more if the series developed them better.
The film wasn't that funny to me either. The funniest part of the movie was Jon Hamm's cameo, which was already shown in the trailer. The rest of the film was predominantly slapstick humor, which is pretty unoriginal. None of the technical elements have anything special about them either.
So overall, "Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie" wasn't horrible, but it didn't really have anything good about it either. I don't regret seeing it, but I don't plan to watch it again.
