I saw this movie when it was in theaters, and I really loved it. I love Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg. So when it came onto Redbox, I knew for a fact that I was goin to go out and watch it again.
It was really beautifully written. It was actually written by the Coen Brothers, so I can say that I saw a Coen Brothers film in preperation for "Hail, Caesar!". It was constantly entertaining, with the only flaw that I can think of being the fact that it is a bit overdramatic.
The cinematography was really, really good. The score was great. The acting was phenomenal. Tom Hanks was great in his role, and Mark Rylance brought a surprisingly human feel to his role that you are supposed to both hate and love at the same time.
Overall, this definitely was one of the best films of the year. I think it was worthy of its Best Picture nod and look forward to watching it again and again.

I look at films as if through old red and blue 3D glasses— one lens is as art, one lens is as entertainment.
