I was recommended this short film because of its similarity to "Stutterer", which won the Academy Award for Best Short Film - Live Action. It was easily available on YouTube, so I decided to give it a watch.
I can definitely see the "Stutterer" comparisons. The male lead is very strong in the film, showing emotion well, since the film was predominantly silent. The female lead also did a good job in her role. The characters were likable and the story was interesting.
Compared to "Stutterer", though, I don't think that this film had as much of an emotional impact because the main character didn't feel as limited as the main character in "Stutterer". I also feel that the film should have went fully silent and not have the dialogue that it had in the film.
So overall, "Signs" is a pretty good watch. I would recommend that you check it out on YouTube.

I look at films as if through old red and blue 3D glasses— one lens is as art, one lens is as entertainment.
